How Tutoring Study Skills Can Help Your Child

How Tutoring Study Skills Can Help Your ChildTutoring Study Skills has been designed to help parents teach their children new study skills. The four sessions of five weeks each focus on teaching new skills in a very personal environment. You will be working with your child, providing feedback and coaching and receiving feedback from your child. The sessions are the most personal you will ever have with your child. They are short and concentrated. Your child will focus on one topic for a specific length of time that is tailored to your child's needs. These sessions will provide your child with the support they need to create the best learning experience possible. This program includes five different sessions that will teach new concepts in specific areas of learning. The sessions are tailored to meet your individual needs and take your child through a series of activities to build and enhance learning skills. You will use games, activities and simple games to help your child get to grips with and develop a specific learning style. Your child will also be given the tools they need to make good decisions in everyday life. The sessions will help your child learn more about how they process information, what it means to learn and how to become a more effective learner. Many children are not equipped to plan for, organise and perform well at school or work and cannot focus well enough to achieve their goals and objectives. Achieving goals is often linked to achievement anxiety and this is where the program comes into its own. Tutoring Study Skills will help your child to be able to identify their learning needs and make realistic learning plans based on that. You can be sure that they will get the support they need to help them reach their learning goals in a safe and secure environment, with the understanding that you will be there to support them in every step of the way to ensure that they achieve their successful outcome. All of this will happen in an environment that you have designed specifically for this purpose.Children are very social creatures and want to be part of a group. In this day and age, they are most comfortable in a group. Their schools and workplaces need to be able to accommodate this and the tutoring program will provide that support for them. The first tutor will visit the child in his or her home to provide support, guidance and advice. The second tutor will visit them during home time to go over the basics of the lesson, ask questions and play games as a way of helping your child to remember what they have learnt. You will use the feedback from this tutor to tailor the next session to fit your child's needs.
